Autumn 1
This term Year 6 will be working on an exciting topic – World War 2. We will be looking specifically at how the war affected children. We will be reading Judith Kerr’s When Hitler Stole Pink rabbit, listening to music from the era and creating our own propaganda posters. Our fascinating topic Science topic is ‘Evolution and Inheritance’.
Autumn 2
This term we will be continuing our work on WW2 and rehearsing for our Christmas show – Primary School Christmas Musical. We will also be exploring some challenging and thought-provoking concepts in our Philosophy sessions.
