Autumn 1
This term Year 6 will be working on an exciting topic – World War 2. We will be looking specifically at how the war affected children. We will be reading Judith Kerr’s When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, listening to music from the era and creating our own propaganda posters.Our fascinating Science topic is ‘Evolution and Inheritance’.
Autumn 2
This term we will be continuing our work on WW2 and rehearsing for our Christmas show – Primary School Christmas Musical. We will also be exploring some challenging and thought-provoking concepts in our Philosophy sessions.

Our P4C enquiry this week was "Why are people afraid of the unknown?" Some very thoughtful responses and our listener of the week received a HTA for asking "Can you disagree with yourself?" showing she had listened to others and thought carefully about her own thoughts. 👍#P4C
